Important Information for Cruise Passengers
Visitors travelling to Rotterdam Cruise Terminal via Schiphol Airport should be aware of major railway disruptions on Saturday 13 June and Sunday 14 June.
Due to engineering works carried out by ProRail, there will be no train services to, from or via Rotterdam Centraal Station throughout the weekend.
The railway signalling system is being replaced and replacement transport will operate.
Routes Affected
No trains will run on the following routes:
- Rotterdam Centraal – Schiphol Airport (HSL)
- Rotterdam Centraal – Breda (HSL)
- Rotterdam Centraal – Delft Campus
- Rotterdam Centraal – Gouda
- Rotterdam Centraal – Zwijndrecht
Travelling from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam Cruise Terminal
Cruise passengers arriving at Schiphol Airport should expect significant disruptions.
Direct train services between Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam will not operate.
Passengers may need to:
- use replacement buses
- travel via alternative train routes
- use metro connections
- travel via Utrecht where advised
Journey times may be considerably longer than normal.
Travelling from Amsterdam
Passengers travelling from Amsterdam should also expect delays and route changes.
International services such as Eurostar and Intercity Brussels may operate on diverted routes and may not call at Rotterdam Centraal during the works.
